P91 보다 P92 재질에는 텅스텐이 페라이트 조직 안정화 원소 역할을 할 뿐 아니라
크롬, 몰리브덴과 함께 고온에서의 크리프 강도를 높여주는 할을 합니다.
페라이트 조직을 가지는 합금강은 열팽창계수가 작고, 열전도도가 크므로
열 응력이 작아, 높은 크립 강도와 고온에서 고 항복 강도를 가지는 특성이 있습니다.

탄소강 단조강에서 SF440A처럼 “A”인 경우는 충격시험이 없고,
SF540B처럼 “B”인 경우는 CVN 충격시험이 있습니다.

또한 “A”인 경우는 외경에 따른 기계적 성질 변화의 규정이 없지만 “B”인 경우는
외경이 커짐에 따라 강도가 구분되면서 외경이 커질수록 질량 효과로 강도는 떨어집니다.

※ Mass effect (질량 효과 : 質量效果)
The degree of difference in depth of the quench hardened layer
according to the greatness of mass and sectional dimensions .
When a slight change of mass or sectional dimensions bring about
a great change in the depth of the hardened layer, the mass effect is said to be great.
