B211 규정은 알루미늄과 알루미늄 합금 압연재와 냉간 마무리 환봉과 로드에 관한
규정이고, 이 안에 A7075-T651 석출 경화 열처리 합금 재질이 있습니다.

2000 series — 2014, 2017, 2024 재질과
7000 serris — 7075 재질은

석출경화 열처리로 높은 강도와 내식성 알루미늄입니다.
2000, 7000 serise 재질은 내식성은 있지만 5000, 6000 series처럼

높지는 않고, 내식성보다는 강도에 초점을 맞춘 재질로, 강도 우선 합금입니다.
비중은 철의 1/3 수준이면서 강도가 높으니 항공기, 우주항공 분야에 주로 쓰입니다.

Alloy 7075-T651 비중 2.80 g/㎤ — 항복강도 455 MPa minimum
ASTM A36 탄소강 비중 7.85 g/㎤ — 항복강도 250 MPa minimum

스테인리스 SUS304 비중 8.0 g/㎤ — 항복강도 205 MPa minimum으로
다른 물리적 성질을 배제하면, 비중 대비 강도에서 얼마나 우위의 재료인지 알 수 있습니다.

Solution heat treated, stretched a controlled amount(product dependent)
for stress relief, and artificially aged(no further straightening after stretching)
용체화 처리 후 잔류응력을 제거하고, 다시 인공 시효 경화 처리한 것을 말합니다.

A process in which an alloy is heated to a suitable temperature and is held
at this temperature long enough to allow soluble constituents to enter into
solid solution where they are retained in a super-saturated state after quenching

합금을 적절한 온도로 가열하고 급랭 이후 과포화 상태로 존재하던
가용성분이 고용체에 고용화 될 수 있도록 충분히 유지하는 공정을 말합니다.

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리하는 것을 말합니다.
