A387 Grade 22 Plate재질은 압력용기에 사용하는 크롬과 몰리브덴 합금 강판
규격으로 Class 1, Class 2로 나뉘고, 이 둘 간의 화학 성분은 차이가 전혀 없습니다.

다만 Class 2 등급이 Class 1 등급보다 강도가 높습니다.
항복강도에서 50% 정도 차이가 있고, 이 정도는 강재에서 상당한 차이입니다.

A387-22 Plate 재질은 크롬의 합금량 2-1/4%, 몰리브덴 1% 합금이라서 2¼Cr-1Mo 라고도
부르는 합금강으로, 크롬과 니켈을 합금하고, NT or QT 열처리하면

강도를 높이는 역할을 하기도 하지만, 고온강도가 좋아지며, 크롬의 합금은 고온에서 크리프
강도를 향상시키는 역할을 하므로, 온도가 오르고 내리는 압력용기 강재에서 중요한 합금 원소입니다.

※ Chromium (Cr : 크롬)
When used as an alloying element, chromium increases the hardenability of steel
and in association with high carbon gives resistance to wear and abrasion.
Chromium has an important effect on corrosion resistance and is present
in stainless steels in amounts of 11.5-20%.

크롬은 강에 합금 원소로 사용되며, 크롬량이 증가하면 경화성이 높아지고
고탄소강에는 내마모 성질을 부여합니다. 크롬은 스텐레스강에서 가장
중요한 원소로 11.5~20% 수준 합금되, 내식성질을 부여합니다.

※ Molybdenum (Mo)
Its use as an alloying element in steel increase hardenability and
in low alloy steels reduces the risk of temper brittleness.
It is used in stainless steels as well as high speed steels.
It is increases the high-temperature tensile and creep strengths in steel.

몰리브덴은 경화능 향상 원소이고, 저합금강에서는 템퍼 취성을 감소 시키는
역할을 합니다. 몰리브덴은 고속도강부터 스텐레스까지 합금 되는 원소입니다.
몰리브덴은 강에서 고온 강도와 크리프 강도를 높여주는 역할을 합니다.
