ASTM A311 규정 냉간 인발, 응력 풀림 열처리 재료 규정 중
Grade 1117 강종은 황을 쾌삭 원소로 활용한 쾌삭강입니다.

ASTM A311 규정 강재는 Class A — Normal-draft cold drawn and stress relieved
Class B — Heavy-draft cold drawn and stress relieved, 2 종류가 있지만

Grade 1117 강재는 Class A 조건만 있는 쾌삭강입니다.
As Roll 상태에서 항복강도 385 MPa 수준이지만 Class A 조건인 냉간 인발과

응력 풀림 처리 후에는 D25mm 기준 415 MPa minimum의 가공 경화 효과가 있습니다.
A311 Grade 1117 강재는 JIS G4804 SUM31, JIS SUM 32 재질과 비교 가능합니다.

※ Free cutting steels (Resulfurized : 쾌삭강, 快削鋼)
Steels to which free cutting properties is improved by
individual or combined addition of phosphorus (P), sulfur (S),
lead (Pb), selenium (Se), tellurium (Te), calcium (Ca), etc.

인, 황, 납, 셀레늄, 텔루륨, 칼슘 등을 단독 또는 복합으로
첨가하여, 피삭성 (被削性)을 높인 강을 말합니다.

※ Stress Relieving(old name : stress relief annealing : 응력제거 어닐링(풀림)
Every piece of steel has an amount of internal stress caused
by steel production, machining, surface finish, heat treatment
and other processes.
During a heat treatment process the yield strength is reduced
to a lower level. If precision parts or complicated tools with
close tolerances, this deformation could cause problems.
In the case after rough machining and stress relieving is done
with a high degree of machining allowance.
After this process the internal stress is reduced by the parts deforming.
The standard process is slow heating up to 550~650℃, holding for
minimum 2 hours and finishing with a slow cooling in the furnace.

모든 철강재는 생산, 가공, 표면 마무리, 열처리와 기타 공정 진행에서
내부 응력이 어느 정도 쌓일 수 밖에 없고, 이런 내부 응력을 해소시키려고
적당한 온도로 가열하고 균열화한 후, 적절한 온도로 냉각함으로써
실질적인 조직의 변화 없이 내부 응력을 줄이고자 시행하는 열처리를 말합니다.
