H-11 강재는 저합금강 수준의 크롬-몰리브덴-바나듐 합금강입니다.
소모전극-진공용해 방법 생산으로 강재 내부의 청정성을 높인 재질로

일반적인 대기 환경에서  용해강 (melting)보다 역방향의 연성, 높은 노치 인성, 높은 강도,
깊은 심경화로 열처리 후 항복강도 1500 MPa 수준의 고강도 강재입니다.

항공기 구조체용으로 주로 사용되므로 프리미엄급 진공 용해 생산 합금강재로
보통 환봉 형상의 공급이고 ASTM A646 규정의 강재는 모두 프리미엄 항공기강재입니다.

ASTM A646 강재는 모두 항공기용 랜딩 기어 부품용으로 사용하는 합금강으로
철강 반제품인 Bloom, Billet 단조용 소제 규정이고, 이 규정 안에 H-11이 있습니다.

H-11 강재가 항공기용 소재이므로 항공용 소재 규격인 AMS 6485,
AMS 6487, AMS 6488 적용을 받으며 UNS T20811 번호는 동일합니다.

Premium Aircraft Quality Steel is the ultimate quality that can currently be obtained in
production quantities and is usually applied to the most critical parts and components.
Steel conformed to this quality level is produced by the consumable electrode vacuum
arc remelting technique. AMS 2300 defines this quality and outlines testing requirements
Steels described herein which meet this quality are designated by the letters VAR
(Vacuum Arc Remelts) or CEVM (Consumable Electrode Vacuum Melted)

프리미엄 항공기강은 VAR (진공아크용해) 또는 CEVM (소모전극진공용해) 방법으로 생산하고
AMS 2300 (프리미엄 항공기 강재 청정성 자분탐상 검사) 적용을 받으며, 최고의 품질로
가장 중요한 부품으로 사용되는 강재를 말합니다.

※ Through-hardening (깊은 경화 : 심경화)
철강재의 표면과 중심부의 경도 차이가 없도록 경화 깊이를 크게 하는 퀜칭 경화

※ Semi-finished products (鋼片 : 강편, 반제품 : 半製品)
Semi-finished products whose cross-sectional shapes along the length
are constant, obtained by rolling or forging of steel ingots or
by continuous casting.
Generally intended for conversion into finished products by the
subsequent hot rolling or hot forging.
According to the cross-sectional shape and dimension,
classified into slab, bloom, billet, sheet bar and so on.

강괴로 부터 분괴압연기 또는 열간단조로서 제조되어, 열간압연의 강판,
강대, 선재, 봉강, 형강, 평강 및 SMLS 강관과 주조품의 각 제조공정에
공급되는 소재로, 단면의 모양, 치수에 따라서 슬라브, 빌렛,
블룸, 시트바라고도 합니다.
