알루미늄 합금 5754-H24 해수에 대한 내식성이 좋은 재질입니다.
알루미늄으로 봐서는 중간 수준의 강도를 가진 재질이면서 변형에 저항성입니다.

비열처리형 합금으로 냉간 가공에 의한 가공 경화 효과로 강도를 높일 수 있으며
스테인리스에 몰리브덴을 합금하면 해수에 내식성이 높아지는 효과가 있는것처럼

알루미늄에는 마그네슘 합금이 해수에 대한 내식성을 향상시키는 역할을 해
5754 재료는 해상구조물, 선박 건조용, 압력용기, 극저온용기로 주로 사용됩니다.

Temper O 경우는 항복강도 80 MPa minimum이지만
Temper H24, H34 : 항복강도 160 MPa minimum

Temper H38 : 항복강도 230 MPa minimum 으로
냉간 압연에 의한 가공 경화도에 따라 강도는 급격히 상승합니다.

※ Strain hardening (가공경화 : 加工硬化)
Modification of a metal structure by cold working, resulting in an
increase in strength and hardness, generally with some loss of ductility.

냉간 가공에 의한 금속 조직의 변화로 강도와 경도의 증가를 유발하며
일반적으로 연성이 감소되는 현상이 있습니다.

※ Cold working (냉간가공 : 冷間加工)
Plastic deformation of a metal or alloy at a temperature
such that strain hardening occurs.

가공 경화가 발생하는 온도에서의 금속 또는 합금의 소성변형을 말합니다.

※ Temper H
Strain Hardened (Wrought Products Only) – Applied to products that have their
strength increased by strain hardening with or without supplementary thermal
treatments to produce partial softening. Two or more digits always follow the H.

가공 경화한 것 – 적절하게 부드럽게 하기 위한 열처리의 유무에 상관없이
가공 경화에 의해 강도를 증가한 것을 말합니다.
