ST12T 또는 ST12TS 라는 Market Grade 재질은  DIN-EN 규격 번호 1.4923
재질 명칭 X22CrMoV12-1을 말하는 것으로 EN 10269, EN 10302 규정 강재입니다.

내열강으로 1.4923 +QT1 — 항복강도 600 MPa minimum
1.4923 +QT2 — 항복강도 700 MPa minimum으로 QT 열처리형 강재입니다.

QT1 경우는 500℃에서 0.2% 항복강도 500 MPa
QT1 경우는 500℃에서 0.2% 항복강도 390 MPa의 고온 강도입니다.

ST12T 환봉 재료의 경우 고온에서 사용하는 fasteners 용도로 쓰이고
고온 Creep Resisting Steel, Heat Resisting Steel 입니다.

이와 같은 크리프 저항성과 내열성으로 항공기, 원자력 발전소, 터빈용 부품,
보일러 압력용기용 부품으로 쓰이는 내식강으로 PREN 13.6~16.5 수준 재료입니다.

※ Heat Resisting (내열 : 耐熱)
Property of materials that are used at above 550℃ (for steel : wustite point)
due to their excellent resistant to the effects of hot gases and products of
combustion as well as their resistance to the influence of molten salts
and molten metals but also showing good mechanical properties
during short and long-term stressing

내열성은 550℃ 를 넘는 연소 가스의 영향에 저항성 성질 뿐 아니라 용융염,
용융 금속에도, 짧은 시간부터 오랜 기간 응력에 대한 영향에서, 좋은 기계적
성질과 내산화 내부식 성질입니다.
대개의 금속은 540~550℃ 수준을 넘는 온도 노출되면 미세 구조의 변화로
심한 연성 저하와 충격 강도의 저하가 있습니다.

※ Creep strength materials (크리프 강도 재료)
Steels, nickel- or cobalt alloys with minimum 8% chromium, which are
characterised by good mechanical behaviour at temperature above 500℃
under long-range service condition ; i.e. primarily by creep strength
to 1% plastic strain or creep rupture strength during long-time stressing.
강 (鋼)이나, 니켈 합금, 코발트 합금이면서 최소 크롬을 8% 이상 합금으로
500℃ 이상의 환경에서 사용 될 때, 좋은 기계적 성질을 보이는 금속을 말합니다.
