CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C 재질은 알루미늄 청동을 기본으로 하고, 철과 니켈을 합금했습니다.
구리에 10% 수준 알루미늄을 합금하면 항복강도보다 인장강도가 높은 청동이 됩니다.

항복강도는 280 MPa minimum으로 KS 용접 구조용강 SM275 수준이지만
인장강도 650 MPa minimum은 JIS 용접구조용강 SM570 보다 높습니다.

CuAl10Fe5Ni5 다음에 붙는 “-C” 약호는 Cast 제품에 대한 표시이고
CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C-GZ의 “GZ”는 Centrifugal Casting 원심 주조품 약자입니다.

이 재질은 특징은 높은 인장강도와 내마모성, 내식성이고, 극저온 사용이 가능합니다.
해수에도 높은 내식성으로 주로 베어링, 기어, 부싱 용도로 사용됩니다.

※ 원심력주강품 (centrifugal casting : 遠心力鑄造品)
원심력 주조법으로 제조된 주조품을 말합니다. 회전의 축 방향에 따라
직립형과 수평형이 있으며, 주형으로는 금형과 사형이 있습니다.

※ Wear resistance (내마모성 : Abrasion resistance : 耐摩耗性)
A property of resistance against a phenomenon in which the mechanical
scratch, metallic abrasion, etc. of relatively moving metal surfaces are
integrated and the surfaces are worn, called wear.

상대 운동하는 금속 면의 기계적 글킴, 금속적 점착등이 종합되어서 그 면이
소모되는 현상을 마모라고 하고, 이에 견디는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Bearing steel (베어링강)
Alloy steels used for balls, rollers, inner rings and outer rings of rolling bearing
High fatigue strength and high abrasion resistance are required because
high speed variable repeating load should be necessarily endured .
Therefore, they are manufactured taking into consideration the importance
of the cleanliness of steel and the uniformity of structure.
High carbon low chromium steel is, in general, a representative steel grade.
ISO 6929 treats case hardening steels, induction hardening steels,
stainless steels, and high temperature resistance steels as bearing steels other
than high carbon-chromium steel.

로울링 베어링의 강구, 로울러, 내륜, 외륜에 쓰이는 합금강을 말합니다.
고속으로 변동하는 반복 하중에 견디어 내는 필요성에서 높은 내피로강도와
내마멸성이 요구되므로, 강철의 청정도와 조직의 균열성을 중요시 해
제조됩니다. 일반적으로 고탄소 저크롬강이 대표적입니다.
