알루미늄 환봉으로 AL 6082-T6 재질은 열처리로 강도를 높일 수 있는 재질입니다.
ASTM B221 AL 6082 규정 재료는 압출재로 우수한 내식성과 알루미늄으로는

중간 정도의 강도로 항복강도 260 MPa minimum 비중 2.70 g/㎤ 입니다.
이 정도의 항복강도를 탄소강 구조용 강재 SS275 항복강도 275 MPa 보다

조금 약한 재료이지만 탄소강 비중 7.85 g/㎤와 비교하면 훨씬 경량 재료입니다.
또한 탄소강으로는 비교할 수 없는 내식성이 장점이 합금입니다.

AL 6082와 같은 6000 series 합금은 마그네슘과 실리콘으로 석출 경화로 강도를
높이는 합금으로, 내식성뿐 아니라 용접성도 좋아 구조체 (strustural)로 쓰입니다.

※ Temper T6
Solution heat treated and artificially aged
용체화 처리 후 시효경화한 것을 말합니다.
용체화 처리 후 적극적인 냉간가공을 하지 않고 인공시효 경화
처리한것으로, 그 냉간가공을 한것의 효과가 작습니다.

※ Artificial ageing (precipitation heat treatment) : 인공시효 (석출열처리)
A thermal treatment of an alloy at above room temperature to produce strengthening
by precipitation of soluble constituents from the super-saturated solid solution

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리하는 것을 말합니다.

※ 열처리( Heat Treatment : 熱處理)
철강재의 전체 또는 일부에 열 사이클을 적용하여 그 성질 또는 조직을 변화 시키는
일련의 작업으로, 철강재의 화학 조성은 이러한 작업 과정으로 변할 수 있습니다.
