UNS S35000 재질은 열처리 방법에 따라 높은 강도가 가능한 스테인리스입니다.
Annealed 조건에서 항복강도 414 MPa 수준의 강도이지만

서브 제로 열처리 조건에서는 1172 MPa 수준으로 매직처럼 상승하는 강재입니다.
ASTM A693-S35000 경우는 Plate, Sheet 규정 강재만 있고

환봉의 경우는 AMS 5745 규정이나, 제조사인 Cartech®350 Carpenter Technology
Specification을 바탕으로 물성을 파악해야 합니다.

UNS S35000 재질의 내식성은 보통의 오스테나이트 스테인리스 수준이며
강도와 내식성을 바탕으로, 상온~중고온 수준의 가스 터빈 부품, 축, 디스크 용도입니다.

강재 내부에 남아 있는 잔류 오스테나이트를 줄이려는 처리를 말합니다.
서브 제로 처리를 하지 않으면 사용 중 마르텐사이트로 조직이 변하는 과정에서 치수 변경
크랙이 발생할 수 있고, 오스테나이트가 마르텐사이트로 전환은 -60℃ ~ -196℃ 에서 이루어집니다.
