SUP10-PA 재질은 크롬-바나듐 합금강이면서 “PA”는 Pickled and Annealed로
생산된 경우의 스프링강으로, 코일 스프링 또는 비틀림 박대 스프링으로 쓰입니다.

SUP10-PA 강재에 합금된 크롬은 QT 열처리 시에 경화성을 높이는 중요한 원소이고
바나듐은 강도와 경도를 높이는 원소이면서 공구강에 합금하는 주요 원소입니다.

스프링강으로는 탄소강 스프링, 합금강 스프링, 스테인리스 스프링 종류 등이 있고
SUP10 재질은 합금강 스프링강으로 QT 열처리 시 1080 MPa minimum 강재입니다.

※ Pickled Surface (산세 다듬질 : 酸洗)
Finish which indicates the surface conditions of steel products,
with which the mill scale, rust, etc. of surface are removed by
dipping into sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid or other acid solution.

강재의 표면 상태를 나타내며, 황산, 염산, 또는 기타의 산용액에
침지 (浸漬 : 용액에 담그거나 적시는) 시켜서, 표면의 스케일, 녹 등을 제거한 것.

※ Vanadium (V : 바나듐)
Retards grain growth even after exposure to high temperatures.
바나듐 원소는 경도와 강도, 충격 저항성을 높이고,
고온에서 결정립의 성장을 지연 시키는 원소입니다.
또한 내마모성과 탄성 한계를 높이고 조직을 미세화 시키며, 비중 6.16 g/㎤
판재의 경우 항복강도 450 MPa, 냉간 압연 시 (84%) 770 MPa 수준입니다.
고속도 공구강, 스프링강, 열간 금형용 합금 공구강에 Ni, Cr, Mo 원소와
같이 합금 돼 쓰이는 경우가 많습니다.

※ Chromium (Cr : 크롬)
When used as an alloying element, chromium increases the hardenability of steel
and in association with high carbon gives resistance to wear and abrasion.
Chromium has an important effect on corrosion resistance and is present
in stainless steels in amounts of 11.5-20%.

크롬은 강에 합금 원소로 사용되며, 크롬량이 증가하면 경화성이 높아지고
고탄소강에는 내마모 성질을 부여합니다. 크롬은 스텐레스강에서 가장
중요한 원소로 11.5~20% 수준 합금돼, 내식 성질을 부여합니다.
