AL 2014 재질은 열처리로 높은 강도가 가능한 Al-Cu 합금입니다.
단조품에도 적용되는 규정으로 항공기와 유압 부품, 경량이지만

높은 응력이 작용하는 환경에 사용되며, 항복강도 245 MPa minimum입니다.
이 정도의 항복강도를 가지는 대표적인 탄소강으로는 ASTM A36 – 250 MPa min.입니다.

AL 2014 재료의 비중은 2.8 g/㎤으로 탄소강 7.8 5 g/㎤보다는 훨씬 가볍고
마그네슘 합금보다는 1.77 g/㎤보다는 무거운 비철 금속입니다.

석출 경화 열처리로 Al2Cu 또는 Al2CuMg 석출물로 인해 강도가 높아지는 특성을
가지는 재료로 우수한 기계적 성질이지만, 알루미늄 합금으로는 내식성은 떨어집니다.

압출재인 경우는 2014BE (extrusion), 인발재인 경우는 2014BD (drawn)라는 약호를 사용하며
Temper에 따라 다양한 강도를 가지며 Temper T6511, D15 경우 항복강도 400 MPa minimum입니다.

conditions in the manufacturing process.

금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 성질 또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정(예를 들면 기계적 처리 및 열처리) 후의 상태를 말합니다.

※ Aluminum Temper T4 meaning
Solution heat-treated, and naturally aged
Applies to products which are not cold works after solution
heat treatment, and naturally aged to a substantially stable condition.
Therefore, the effect of cold work in flattening or
straightening may be small.

고용화열처리 이후에 자연 시효 경화한 후 안정화 된 상태를 말하고
고용화열처리 이후에 냉간 가공을 실시하지 않으며 변형을 바로잡기 위한
냉간 가공은 기계적 성질에 영향이 작은 수준을 말합니다.
