강판 S235JR 강재는 유럽 규격의 강도가 높지 않은 강판 규격입니다.
항복강도 235 MPa minimum으로

S275JR — 275 MPa min. S355JR — 355 MPa minimum 보다
강도가 낮은 저강도 탄소강으로, EN 10025-2 규정의 재질을 따릅니다.

ASTM A36, KS SS275, JIS SS400 강도와 비교하면 조금 약한 강도로
A36, SS400 규정에는 없는 온도별 충격 시험 조건의 재질이 있습니다.

S235JR — “JR” 상온 20℃에서 27Joule min.
S235J0 — “J0” 0℃에서 27Joule min.

S235J2 — “J2” 영하 20℃에서 27Joule min.로 구분된
CVN Impact Test 충격 시험 보증 조건의 강재입니다.

열간 압연 강재로 As Roll 공급의 강판, 형강 제품으로 주로 생산되며, 탄소강이므로
스테인리스처럼 내식성을 가지지 못하므로, 부식에 주의가 필요합니다.

※ Steel plates, Steel sheets (강판)
Hot rolled or cold rolled flat steel products, cut to flat plate shapes,
including to cut length from the steel strips.
However, flat bars are not included.

평평하게 열간압연 또는 냉간압연된 강철로, 평판상으로 절단된 강재.
강대로부터 자른 판(切板)도 포함됩니다, 평강은 포함되지 않습니다.

※ 후판 (steel plates, 후강판)
Steel plates manufactured by hot rolling.
In the classification for statistical purpose, thickness is equal to or
greater than 3.0 mm. Those of equal to or greater than 3.0 mm and
less than 6.0 mm may be called medium gauge plate and those of equal
to or greater than 6.0 mm in thickness may be called heavy steel plate.
In the classification of ISO 6929, in the classification for statistical purpose,
it is recommended to classify steel plates whose thickness is equal to or
greater than 3 mm, and the cold rolled steel plate shall be included.

열간 압연으로 제조된 강판으로, 보통 두께 3 mm 이상의 것.
특히 3.0 mm 이상, 6.0 mm 미만의 것을 중판, 6.0 mm 이상의 것을
후판이라고 하는 수도 있습니다.
