B438-1-2 재질은 B438 Grade 1 Type 2를 말하고, 혼합 분말 야금 방법으로
생산하는 재료로, 주석 10% 수준과 구리를 대부분으로 하는 다공성 (多孔性 : porous :

구멍이 많은)으로 제조되어 오일을 함침 (含浸 : impregnated : 스며들게 하다) 함으로
자기 윤활 (self-lubricating)이 되는 슬리브, 플랜지로 사용하는 청동 베어링을 말합니다.

ASTM B438에는 Grade 1 — Bronze, Grade 2 — Bronze-Graphite
Grade 3 — Bronze-High Graphite, Grade 4 — Bronze-Lead Graphite (군사용)으로

구분되며, 새로운 코드가 부여되어 B438 Grade 1 Type 2 경우는
B438 CT-1000-K26으로 변경된 Code가 적용되고 있습니다.

또한 B438 CT-1000-K26 재질은 SAE 841, Oilite® Bronze Bearing Alloy
(Registered US Trademark of Beemer Precision, Inc) 제조사 상표도 있습니다.

※ Oil impregnated bearing (소결 함유 베어링)
Powder metallurgical product, of which open pores are filled with
lubricating oil, used for bearing.
개방기공에 윤활액을 함유시킨 소결 베어링을 말하고, 오일리스 베어링
(Oilless bearing) 자기윤활베어링(Self-lubricating bearing) 이라고도 합니다.

※ Impregnation (함침 : 含浸)
Process of filling the pores of a sintered object with a material, such as
for instance oil, wax, resin.
소결체의 연결 개방기공에 기름, 왁스, 수지 등의 비금속 재료를 채우는 것을 말합니다.

※ Sintering (소결 : 燒結)
Thermal treatment of a powder or compact, at a temperature below
the melting point of the main constituent, for the purpose of increasing
its strength by the metallurgical bonding of its particles.
용융점 아래에서, 주성분인 분말 또는 성형체를 열처리에 의해 금속
