CuAl9NiFe 재질은 구리에 인장강도를 확~ 높여주는 원소인 알루미늄을
9% 수준 합금하고, 강도에 좋다는 다른 원소들을 골고루 합금시킨 동합금입니다.

해수 (sea-water)에 높은 내식성과 강도와 인성, 마찰 마모에 대한 내마모성,
극저온에서도 좋은 기계적 성질, Non-sparking 특징인 재료입니다.

이와 같은 특징으로 영국 국방성 규격 (Ministry of Defense (MoD))인
DGS 1043, Def Stan 02-833 Part 2, NES 833 Part2 재질과 대응되며,

합금 원소 기호를 따서, CuAl9NiFe, CuAl10Ni5Fe4 로도 불리고,
UNS C63200, 유럽 재질 번호 2.0966 대응 가능한 재료입니다.

주로 사용되는 곳은 파스너, 기어, 펌프용 부품, 커플링, 열교환기, 중하중의 베어링, 부싱,
안전 공구, 마린용 밸브, 내마모판, 웜 휠에 쓰입니다.

※ 동합금에서 알루미늄 원소
Aluminium is the main strengthening element and normally ranges from 8-13% within
this family of alloys. At the top end of the range, hardness figures of 30-44 HRC are possible.
However, at these very high hardnesses, the ductility is reduced to 1% and these alloys
can only be used in wear applications for forming and drawing tooling.

알루미늄은 8~13% 수준의 합금 양에서 중요한 강화 원소 역할을 하며 이때
경도 값 30~44 HRC 정도입니다.
하지만 고경도에서는 높은 경도를 얻은 대신 연신율이 1% 정도 감소하며
높은 경도 동합금으로 내마모성이 필요한 인발 공구와 성형 용도로 쓰이게 됩니다.

※ 동합금에서 니켈 (Nickel : Ni) 원소
Nickel is improves the corrosion resistance and increases the mechanical strength.
It also helps with the erosion resistance in high velocity water flow.

구리에 니켈을 합금하면 내식성과 기계적 성질을 높이고, 고속 물 흐름에 대해
침식 부식 저항성 성질을 부여합니다.

※ 동합금에서의 철 (Iron : Fe) 원소
Iron can gives toughness.
Iron is precipitates by controlled heat treatment to strengthen the alloy.
It is beneficial for the iron content to be less than that of nickel.

철은 동합금에 인성과 열처리로 석출되어 강화 원소로 사용되며
철과 니켈이 같이 합금되면, 니켈 합금 양보다는 적습니다.
