Spring 1095 강재는 탄소강으로 탄소량이 0.95% 수준입니다.
탄소강은 탄소량만으로 강재의 강도를 높이고 내릴 수 있는 강재이지만

내식성을 높이는 크롬 합금 있는 스테인리스가 아니므로 내식성이 담보되지 않습니다.
AISI 1095, ASTM A684-1095, A29-1095 또는 1095 Steel로도 불리며 JIS SK5에 비교됩니다.

폐지된 이전 규격 A682-1095에서 보면, Temper 열처리하면 인장강도 1240~2340,
경도 40~52 수준의 고경도 재료로, 탄성계수 210 GPa 수준입니다.

※ Blueing (블루잉 : 청염화)
잘 연마된 철강재의 표면에 치밀하고 얇으며, 부착성이 강한 청색 산화물 피막이
형성되도록 산화성 매질 중의 특정 온도에서 수행하는 열처리 작업을 말합니다

※ Spring steel(스프링강)

by heat-treatment principally.
As spring steels in a broad sense, the steels of which performance is
raised by cold working and heat treatment such as piano wires hard
drawn steel wires, stainless steel wires, oil tempered wires and cold
rolled steel strip, and which are formed into small springs, such as
wire springs and flat spring are also included.

탄소계, 실리콘-망간계, 망간-크롬계, 크롬-바나듐계 등의 강철로 주로 열간에서
겹친 판스프링, 코일스프링등으로 성형 가공하고, 열처리를 해서 스프링 성능을
부여하는 강철로, 넓은 뜻의 스프링강으로서는 피아노선, 경강선, 스테인레스강선
오일템퍼선, 냉간압연 강대등과 같이, 냉간가공 및 열처리로서, 스프링 성능을
높인 것으로, 선스프링, 박판스프링등 소형스프링으로 가공한 강철도 포함합니다.
