AL6013 Plate 후판 재료는 Temper T651 — 6.4~160t 경우가 대부분이고
이보다 얇은 시트 경우는 Temper T4 또는 Temper T6으로 –0.5~ 6.4t입니다.

많이 사용되는 알루미늄 재질인 6061보다 강도가 높습니다.
예를 들어 AL 6061-T651 — 25mmt 항복강도 240 MPa minimum 일 때

AL6013-T651 — 25mmt 항복강도 305 MPa minimum으로 고강도 재료입니다.
이와 같은 이유로 6061 합금으로 구조용 (structural : 構造用)으로

강도가 부족한 경우 6013 합금을 찾을 수밖에 없습니다.
두 재질 모두 6000 serise 알루미늄 합금으로, Al-Mg-Si 합금에 의한 Mg2Si 석출물의

발현으로 강도가 높아지는 재질이지만, 6013 재질이 강도가 더 높으며 해수 (sea-water)에 대한
내식성도 좋으며, 용접성, 가공성이 좋아, 범퍼, 압력용기, 극저온용 재료, 기계부품으로 쓰입니다.

※ Precipitation (석출 : 析出)
A phenomenon in which a crystal of a different phase is
separated from a solid solution and grows.

고용체로부터 분리된 다른 상의 결정체가 나타나는 현상으로 합금 금속에서 나타나는,
탄소와 크롬이 결합된 Cr23C6, Mg2Si, MgZn2, 와 같이 표기되는 금속 간 물질을 말합니다.

이와 같은 현상은 스테인리스, 알루미늄합금, 동합금 등에서 나타날 수 있으며, 합금에 의해
또는 합금 재료의 열처리에 의해 이런 현상이 나타나면 금속의 강도와 경도가 높아집니다.

※ Temper T651
Solution heat treated, stretched a controlled amount(product dependent)
for stress relief, and artificially aged(no further straightening after stretching)

용체화 처리 후 잔류 응력을 제거하고, 다시 인공 시효 경화 처리한 것을 말합니다.

※ Artificial ageing (precipitation heat treatment) : 인공시효 (석출 열처리)
A thermal treatment of an alloy at above room temperature to produce strengthening
by precipitation of soluble constituents from the super-saturated solid solution

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리하는 것을 말합니다.
