C2800 은, JIS H3250 의 Bar 규정입니다.
C2801 은, JIS H3100 의 Plate 규정입니다.

모두 통칭해서 6 : 4 황동 또는
60Cu-40Zn, Muntz Metal 이라고도 합니다.

70Cu-30Zn 황동보다 전성과 연성 (전연성)은
좋지 않지만, 기계적 성질 (강도 등)은 더 높습니다.

C2800, C2801 은, ASTM 의 C28000 과 대응 가능하고
미국 연방 규격 QQ-B-613 — Flat 제품

QQ-B-626 — Bar 제품과
재질적으로 비교 가능합니다.

높은 강도 — high strength
중간 정도 수준의 가공성 — moderate workability

우수한 성형성 — good formability
우수한 단조성 — good forgeability 재질입니다.

내식성은 일반적인 수준이고,
탈아연 부식이라는 단점이 있을 수 있습니다.

Use for architectural panel sheets, large nuts and bolts
condenser plates, heat exchanger and condenser tubing.

※ 황동 (Brass, Copper-Zinc : Cu-Zn Alloys, 놋쇠)
동을 주 성분으로 (59.0~71.5%)하고 아연을 합금한 동합금으로
다른 원소가 합금 되기도 합니다.
황동을 동과 비교해, 주조성, 가공성, 내식성이 좋고, 색이 아름답습니다.
또한 황동은 아연(Zn)의 합금량에 따라 물리적, 기계적 성질이 변합니다.

※ 탈아연 부식 (Dezincification : 脫亞鉛腐蝕)
Dezincification selectively removes zinc from the alloy,
leaving behind a porous, copper-rich structure that
has little mechanical strength — NACE

황동이나 금속에서 부식성 물질에 의해, 금속의 표면 또는
내부까지 탈 아연 되면서, 탈아연 금속은 다공질화 되어
(인간의 골다공증처럼) 강도를 상실케 되는 현상을
현상을 말합니다.

※ Temper (질별 : 質別)
금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 및/또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정으로 (예를 들어 기계적 처리 및/또는 열처리) 후의
제품의 상태를 말합니다.
