SKS43 합금 공구강재의 특징은 내충격강재입니다.
JIS G4404 합금 공구강재 중, 63 minimum HRc 값으로

가장 높은 경도를 가지는 강재 중 1가지입니다.
또한 미량 합금만으로도 강재의 강도를 크게

높여주는 Vanadium nominal 0.15% 합금강재로
mainly used for impact resistance (주로 내충격) 용도의 재료입니다.

풀림 열처리, Annealing temperature : 750~800℃ slow cooling
담금질 열처리, QT : 790℃ water quenching, 180℃ air cooling 규정입니다.

SKS43 용도는 piston for rock borer (착암기용 피스톤),
heading die 용도롤 사용됩니다.

※ Alloy Tool Steel (합금 공구강 : 合金工具鋼)
Tool steels used in which one or more alloy elements such as silicon,
manganese, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, etc.
are added in carbon steels.
They are steels which improved on carbon tool steels in hardenability,
machinability, shock resistance, abrasion resistance, non-deformability,
heat resistance, etc., as required. They are classified into cutting tool,
impact resistance tool, cold mold tool and hot roll mold categories by usage.

탄소강에 망간, 니켈, 크롬, 몰리브덴, 텅스텐, 바나듐 등의 합금 원소를
1 종 이상 첨가한 공구강으로, 탄소 공구강에 대해서 경화성, 절삭 성능
내충격성, 내마모성, 불변형성, 내열성 등을 필요에 따라 개선한 강재입니다.

※ Hardness (경도 : 硬度)
Resistance to plastic deformation usually by indentation.
For steel users, it is a parameter to express different mechanical
properties of steel. It should be considered together with other
properties. For example, if two different steel grades have both
50 HRC hardness, it does not necessary mean both have the
same mechanical properties or wear resistance.

압인이나 긁힘에 의한 변형, 특히 영구적인 변형에 대한 재료의
내구성으로 강재의 기계적 성질의 지표입니다.
다른 강재가, 같은 경도 값을 가지더라도 내마모성, 기계적 성질이
다를 수 있으니, 경도와 함께 다른 기계적 성질도 참고해야 합니다.
