F1472 는 Ti6Al4V, UNS R56400 규정입니다.
Nominal Aluminum 6%, Vanadium 4%, 나머지 티타늄 합금입니다.

ASTM F1472 규정은 의료용 Annealed 열처리 재료 규정으로
Surgical implants, wrought 제품 규격입니다.

Ti6Al4V, F1472 제품은 생체적합성 (biocompatibility)가 뛰어나
뼈와 생체 조직이 직접 접촉하는 부분에 사용됩니다.

Ti6Al4V 는, 강도가 좋은 제품으로 항복강도가 minimum
860 MPa로 일반적인 스테인레스 304 대비 4배,

Duplex Stainless (austenitic-ferritic) S32205, S31803
항복강도 450 MPa 의, 2배에 이르는 강도입니다.

월등한 강도와 함께 내식성이 좋아, 해양 환경, 화학 산업
우주 항공과 가스 터빈용으로 사용됩니다.

AMS4911 — Sheet, Strip, Plate, AMS4928 — Bar, Wire, Forgings, Rings,
and Drawn shapes annealed, A5.16 (ERTi-5) — Weld wire 규격이 있습니다.

※ Annealing (풀림)
Thermal treatment to soften metal by removal of strain hardening resulting from cold
working, by recrystallization and/or by coalescing precipitates from the solid solution.

재 결정 및/또는 고용체의 석출에 의하여 냉간 가공 결과로 나타나는 가공 경화를
제거하여 금속을 연화 시키는 열처리를 말합니다.

※ Wrought product
A general term for products obtained by hot and/or cold plastic deformation
processes such as extruding, forging, hot rolling, cold rolling or drawing, either
exclusively or in combination.
Examples for wrought products are rod/bar, wire, tube, profile, sheet, strip, forging.
