22kg Rail 은 경레일로 단위 중량 22.3kg/m 입니다.
경레일는 6kg, 9kg, 10kg, 12kg, 15kg, 22kg Rail 을 말합니다.

단위 중량이 경레일보다 크면, 그냥 Rail 이라고 부르고
Crane 용으로 사용되는 Rail 은, Crane Rail 이라고 합니다.

경레일 중 22.3kg/m 단위 중량을 가지는 Class 22kg Rail 은
다른 경레일보다 탄소 함량이 높고, 강도도 높습니다.

22kg Rail 인장강도는 637 MPa minimum으로
다른 경레일 569 MPa 보다 높습니다.

JIS G1103, KS R9101 은, 경레일에 대한 규격으로
합금강이 아닌 탄소강으로, 평균 탄소량은 0.50% 수준입니다.

0.50& 수준의 탄소량은 기계 구조용 탄소강재인
S45C 강재의 탄소량 보다 높은 S50C 수준의 탄소량입니다.

※ Carbon Steel – AISI
Generally speaking carbon steels contain up to 2% total alloying
elements, and can be subdivided into as following categories
Low-carbon steels, which contain up to 0.30% C
Medium-carbon steels, which contain 0.30% to 0.60% C
High-carbon steels, which contain 0.60% to 1.00% C
