Powder Metal CoCr Mp1 은 Cobalt 약 62.5% 수준을
Base metal 로 하고, 크롬과 몰리브덴을 합금한

Cobalt base alloy 로 Stellite®, CCM™ 으로도 불리는
초합금 (superalloy) Powder Metal 입니다.

Powder CoCr Mp1 는, 적층 가공 (additive manufacturing : 積層加工)
3D 프린팅용으로,사용되는 소결 (sintering : 燒結) 소재입니다

Cobalt 는 합금 원소로 사용된, Cobalt base 합금은
용융점이 높아, 고온에서 높은 응력 (stress) 환경에서 사용 가능하며

Cobalt base superalloy 는 크롬의 합금량이 높아
고온 부식에 대한 저항성이 좋고, 가공성도 좋은 금속입니다.

Cobalt base alloy 로 Stellite® 는, 내마모성이 좋은 금속으로 의료용
implants 로 사용 되, 인체의 엉덩이 뼈, 무릎 관절용으로 사용됩니다.

Powder Metal CoCr Mp1, Cobalt base Metal powder 는
고온용 금속 분말이라서, 항공기용 엔진 소재로 사용되기도 합니다.

※ Powder Metallurgy (PM 분말 야금)
Production of high alloyed materials using metal powders and
the HIP process (Hot Isostatic Pressure). Usually these steel are
called PM (Powder Metallurgical). The products have a fine,
uniform structure and carbide distribution without segregation
and therefore offer a good combination of hardness and toughness.
Nowadays, a lot of tool steels are produced using powder metallurgy.
