KS, JIS 450×300 series 2가지 종류 중 큰 size 인

440×300×11×18 — 단위 중량 124 kg/m와 비교하면
높이가 차이가 있고, 단위 중량에서도 차이가 있습니다.

또한 재질적으로, HEB 450 강재의 경우
Steel Grade S355J2는, -20℃ 충격 시험이 있습니다.

충격 시험은 강재의 인성 (toughness)를 Test 하는 시험으로
저온 환경에서 취성 (brittleness)를 시험하는 조건의 강재입니다.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性 : 메짐성)

20℃＜ 0℃＜ -20℃＜-40℃＜-60℃＜-100℃ 저온으로 가면 갈수록
Brittleness (취성 : 깨지는 성질)는 급격히 증가하며, 구조체의 안전을 확보해야 할
철강 구조체가, 온도가 내려가는 환경에서 버티는 성질을 중요합니다.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性)

일반적으로 단단하고 취성 (脆性)이며, 변형 등이 적은 성질.
보통, 충격 시험에서, 충격치의 대소 또는 파면의 상황에
따라 비교합니다.
인성 (Toughness)와 반대되는 개념으로 외부의 힘에 물체가
소성 변형 (Plastic deformation)을 거의 보이지 않고,
파괴되는 현상을 말합니다.
