DIN-EN 10216-2 : This European Standard specifies the technical delivery
conditions in two test categories for seamless tubes of circular cross section,
with specified elevated temperature properties,
made of non-alloy and alloy steel
TC1 : Test Category 1 : one sample tube.
TC2 : Test Category 2 : two sample tubes : 수량 20개 이하시, one sample tube.
DIN-EN 10216-3 : This European Standard specifies the technical delivery
conditions in two test categories for seamless tubes of circular cross section,
made of weldable alloyed fine grained steel.
DIN-EN 10216-4 : This European Standard specifies the technical delivery
conditions in two test categories for seamless tubes of circular cross section,
with specified low temperature properties,
made of non-alloy and alloy steel.
※ Fine Grain Steel
Steels which resist grain growth over a considerable temperature range,
when held at temperature for a reasonable length
of time as is customary in heat treatment of steel.
※ Grain Growth
During a heat treatment process grains can grow at elevated temperature.
Grain growth (increase in grain size) results in decrease of toughness.
※ Grain
Unit cells which are the smallest building blocks of material create
grains by coming together from different orientations.
Steel with a small grain size (high number of ASTM-standard) has a
high tensile strength and a good toughness.
※ Tensile Strength — DIN EN
Measures the engineering stress applied at the point when it fails.
The maximum amount tensile stress is called “Tensile strength”
It is determined by the tensile test.
Years ago a lot of construction steels were named according to
their tensile strength.
For example St37 (tensile strength is 370 N/㎟) or St52 (tensile
strength 520 N/㎟).
Nowadays they changed their designation and method has been
changed and yield strength is used.
For example S355JR (yield strength is 355 N/㎟) or S420 (yield
strength 420 N/㎟).
※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness
