340 MPa 열간 압연 (hot-rolling) 강판의 Symbol 입니다.

Commercially Pure Titanium (CP Titanium)
Class 1 — 인장강도 270 MPa minimum,

Class 2 — 인장강도 340 MPa minimum 금속으로. 생산 방법에 따라
Hot-rolling 제품 경우는 TP340H 로 표기 하고

Cold-rolling 제품 경우는 TP340C 로 표기 합니다.
TP340H use for pure titanium for industrial uses 용도로

해수에 대한 높은 내식성 — corrosion resistance seawater 특징으로
화학 장치 산업 (chemical apparatus), 석유 정제 산업 (petroleum refining apparatus),

제지 산업 (pulp paper making) 용도로 사용합니다.
TP340H 재질은 연성 (ductility)과 용접성 (weldability) 특성입니다.

※ Cold working (냉간 가공)

가공 경화가 발생하는 온도에서의 금속 또는 합금의 소성 변형을 말합니다.

※ Hot working (열간 가공)
Plastic deformation of a metal or alloy within a temperature
range such that strain hardening does not occurs.

가공 경화가 일어나지 않는 온도 범위에서의 금속 또는 합금의 소성 변형을 말합니다.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.
