A738 Gr. B 재질은 압력용기용 탄소강이면서 Manganese (Mn),
Silicon ( Si) 합금량이 다른 압력용기 강재보다 조금 높습니다

Quenching 과 Tempering 열처리 사용하며, QT 열처리성이 높은
크롬과 바나듐을 합금하고, 조직을 미세화 시키는 컬럼븀 미량 합금 강판입니다.

A738 Grade B, SA738 Gr.B 강판은 용접 하는 압력용기용으로 쓰이며
항복강도 415 MPa minimum 수준의 높은 강도입니다.

저온용과 중온 정도 수준에서 사용하는 강판으로 CVN Test
Longitudinal (압연 방향) -45℃, 27 Joule

Transverse (폭 방향 또는 역방향)으로 -30℃ 27 Joule 가 따를 수 있고
Tolerance (허용 공차) 는, ASTM A20을 따릅니다.

※ Steels for pressure vessels (압력용기용 강재 : 壓力容器用鋼材)
Steel products manufactured pressure vessels and high pressure
equipment which require strength, weldability and principally
toughness at a ordinary temperature.
They are generally used for the principal portions of
pressure vessels.

압력용기 및 고압 설비용으로서 고온 강도, 용접성 및 주로
상온에서의 인성을 중요시하여 제조 된 강재로
보통 압력용기의 주요 부분에 사용됩니다.

※ Charpy V-Notch Impact Test (CVN : 샤르피 충격 시험)
Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.

샤르피 충격 시험기를 사용하여 시험편을 40mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또는 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험.

※ Longitudinal directions (압연 방향 : 壓延方向)
The principal direction of flow in a worked steel.
Usually the length of the plate.
Grain direction also runs the length of the plate.

※ Transverse directions (역방향 : 逆方向)
Literally, across usually signifying a direction or plane
perpendicular to the direction of working.
