Alloy 7178 Aluminum 합금은 고강도 — 530 MPa 이상
Diameter 35.0＜d≤60, 항복강도 금속으로 구조용으로 사용됩니다.

Alloy 7178 은, Aircraft and aerospace application 이면서
높은 압축 강도가 필요한 곳과 건축용으로 사용됩니다.

7178 Aluminum 은, Al-Zn-Mg 합금인, 7000 series 열처리
가능 합금으로, Copper 를 합금 해 강도를 높인 알루미늄 합금입니다.

Copper (Cu)를 알루미늄에 합금 하면 기계적 성질을 향상 시키는
대표격인 원소로, 강도와 절삭성은 향상되지만, 내식성을 저해합니다.

7178 Aluminum 비중은 2.83 g/㎤ at 20℃,
7178 Temper electrical conductivity 32% IACS 입니다.

※ IACS (The International Annealed Copper Standard)
The annealed standard soft copper which is internationally adopted
as the standard of electric resistance (or electric conductivity)
The electrical resistivity is specified as 1.7241×10-8µΩm
(100% IACS in electric conductivity)

동이나 알루미늄에서는 전기전도도 값이 중요합니다.
1913년 표준이 채택된 후 어닐링 된 상태의 동을 기준 해
IACS %가 높을수록 해당 금속의 전기전도도가 좋다는 것을 의미합니다.
Annealed (풀림 열처리)된 순동의 전도율 1.7241×10-8μΩm를 100%로
하고, 이것과의 비율로 나타냅니다.

※ Electrical Conductivity (전기전도도 : 電氣傳導度)
전기, 전자 관련 재료에서 필요한 수치로, 전류를 잘 통과하는지
정도를 말하며, 일반적으로는 열전도도와 비례합니다.

※ Temper (질별 : 質別)
금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 및/또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정으로 (예를 들어 기계적 처리 및/또는 열처리) 후의
제품의 상태를 말합니다.
