C23000 재질은 탈아연화 저항성 재질 황동으로
통용되는 이름으로는 85Cu15Zn, Red Brass 라고 부릅니다.

우수한 냉간 가공성 — excellent cold workability
좋은 열간 성형성 — good hot formability 성질입니다.

C23000 은, 오래 쓸 수 있는 상업용 water pipe로 사용하고
condenser and heat exchanger tubing, plumbing pipe 용도입니다.

C23000 재질의 Temper O61 은 Annealed 열처리 상태를
Temper H58 은 Drawn general purpose 상태를 나타냅니다.

C23000 ASTM B43 은 SMLS Red Brass Pipe, B569 and B698 : Tube
ASTM B36 : Plate, Sheet, Strip, and Rolled Bar 제품 규정입니다.

※ 탈아연 부식 (Dezincification : 脫亞鉛腐蝕)
Dezincification selectively removes zinc from the alloy,
leaving behind a porous, copper-rich structure that
has little mechanical strength — NACE.

황동이나 금속에서 부식성 물질에 의해, 금속의 표면 또는
내부까지 탈 아연 되면서, 탈아연 금속은 다공질화 되어
(인간의 골다공증처럼) 강도를 상실케 되는 현상을
현상을 말합니다

※ Temper (질별 : 質別)
금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 및/또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정으로 (예를 들어 기계적 처리 및/또는 열처리) 후의
제품의 상태를 말합니다.

※ 황동 (Brass, Copper-Zinc : Cu-Zn Alloys, 놋쇠)
동을 주 성분으로 (59.0~71.5%)하고 아연을 합금한 동합금으로
다른 원소가 합금 되기도 합니다.
황동을 동과 비교해, 주조성, 가공성, 내식성이 좋고, 색이 아름답습니다.
또한 황동은 아연 (Zn)의 합금량에 따라 물리적, 기계적 성질이 변합니다
