STK500 은, 일반 구조용 Pipe 규격으로 JIS G 3444 규정 강재입니다.
355 MPa minimum 강재로, STK490 — 315 MPa 보다, 12% 이상 높은 항복강도입니다.

단관비계 (單管飛階) 용도의 건축 가설 발판 용도, 원예용, 농업용 지주, 주차 설비로
사용되는 아연 도금 강관으로 주로 OD48.6 외경의 파이프가 사용됩니다.

단관비계용으로는 STK500 보다 항복강도가 훨씬 높은 STK700 재질도 사용되며
항복강도에서 STK400 대비, 2배 이상으로, 경량화가 가능합니다.

KS 개정 전에는 KS Symbol STK500, JIS Symbol STK500 으로
같았지만, KS 개정 후 SGT 355 로 변경된 재질입니다.

용접성을 중시하여 제조 된 강재를 말합니다.

※ Yield Strength (항복강도 : 降伏强度)
Value of load strength which a specified permanent elongation
occurs in tensile test, expressed by dividing the load by original
sectional area of parallel portion.
the yield strength is used instead of yield point.
인장시험에서 규정된 영구 연신율을 일으킬 때의 하중을
평행부의 원단면적으로 나눈 값
항복점을 항복강도로 사용하기도 합니다.

※ Yield Strength (항복강도 : 降伏强度)
Yield strength is another result determined by tensile test.
The stress at which material changes from elastic deformation to
plastic deformation, causing permanent deformation.
This is one of the most important data for construction engineers to
calculate machine parts and components.
The yield strength is named after their yield strength like :
S275 (yield strength 275 MPa) or S355 (yield strength 355 MPa)
