AMS 5637 재질은 냉간 인발 (cold drawn), 냉간 압조 (cold heading),
내식 스텐레스, 봉과 wire (직경) 19 mm 이하 제품에 대한 규정으로

최소 125 ksi (862 MPa) 인장강도, 371℃ 까지 내식 성능을 가지는 재질입니다.
AMS 5637 재질은 볼트, 스크류, 클레비스 핀 용도로 사용됩니다.

해수 (seawater), 심한 산화와 환원 환경에는 적합치 않고
일반적인 대기 환경에 내식성이 있는 재질입니다.

AMS 5637 — 인장강도 125 ksi minimum, AMS 5636 — 100 ksi 재질은
ASTM A276-302, UNS S30200, SAE 30302 규정에 대응됩니다.

※ Cold Headability (냉간 압조성 : 冷間壓造性)
The degree of easiness in the cold heading
In general, when cold-worked to a fixed shape, objects
without stress crack, and in good surface condition
or the like are regards as good in cold headability.

냉간 압조 할 때의 가공하기 쉬운 정도.
일반적으로 정해진 모양으로 냉간 가공할 때,
응력 균열이 없다든가, 표면 형상이 좋은 것 등은
냉압성 (冷壓性)이 좋다고 합니다.

※ Drawing (인발 : 引拔)
The process of pulling material through a die to reduce the size,
change the cross sectional shape, or to harden the material

소재를 잡아 당겨, 다이를 통과시키면서 단면적이나 크기를
줄여 나가거나, 금속을 경화 시키기도 하는 방법.

※ 산화 (Oxidation : 酸化)
The addition of oxygen to a compound,
Exposure to atmosphere sometimes results in oxidation of the
exposed surface, hence a staining or discoloration,
This effect is increased with temperature.

산소와의 결합을 말합니다.
표면이 대기에 노출되면 산화 된 결과 표면 색이 변하고 변형이 됩니다.
온도가 높아지면 산화는 가속화됩니다.
