S80 재질, BS (British Standard) 영국 표준 규격 스텐레스입니다.
마르텐자이트계 스텐레스로 QT 열처리에 의해 높은 강도입니다.

S80 재질은 내식성, 인성과 강도, 800℃ 까지 내산화성입니다.
높은 기계적 성질과 내식성으로 우주 항공용 부품, 방위 산업용,

파스너, 볼트 너트, shafts, machine tool industry, marine engineering,
paper mills, plant engineering, 해양 장비 부품 용도로 사용됩니다.

S80 스텐레스 재질은 항복강도가 690 MPa minimum 으로, S690 급
탄소강 수준의 강도이고, 1.4057, AMS 5628, AISI 431 재질과 비교 가능합니다.

※ Martensitic Stainless Steels
Stainless steels which can be hardened by increasing carbon contents
of ferritic stainless steel and heat treatment to martensitic structure
SUS410 is representative.

담금질함으로서 마르텐자이트 조직으로 되어, 경화 시킬 수가 있는
스테인레스강으로 SUS410 — 13% 크롬강이 대표적입니다.

※ Martensite (마르텐자이트)
체심 정방체 (BCC) 구조를 가지는 준안정 고용체를 말합니다.
이것은 오스테나이트가 확산 기구가 아닌 방법으로 변태 되어 형성됩니다.
마르텐자이트는 담금질강재의 구조입니다.

Metastable solid solution with a body-centered tetragonal crystal or a
body-centered cubic crystal having the same chemical composition
as that of the original austenite.
It is formed at a temperature of point Ms or lower by the transformation
of austenite without diffusional mechanism.
Martensite is sometimes produced by plastic deformation of austenite.
Martensite is the structure in quenched steel.
