SKS93 재질은 합금 공구강 (alloy tool steel) 입니다.
YK30 – Daido Steel, STS93 – KS, SKS93 – JIS93 서로 대응됩니다.

1% 를 넘는 탄소량에, QT 열처리성이 높은 크롬을 0.20~0.60%
합금한 강재입니다 … 크롬은 0.3% 이상 합금되야, 합금강이라고 합니다.

QT 경화성을 높여주는 탄소량과 크롬 합금으로
Quenching and Tempering 열처리시 HRC 63 이상의 고경도강입니다.

SKS93 합금강 재질은 SK3 탄소 공구강재에 크롬을 합금 해 열처리성을 높이고,
담금질성을 높이는 Manganese 을 합금 해, 성질을 개선한 재질입니다.

SKS93 강재는 주로 냉간 금형용 공구강재로 사용하며
칼, 칼날, 게이지, 프레스 형틀 등의 용도로 사용합니다.

SKS93 재질이 HRC 63 이상이 나오려면, Quenching 820 ℃ Oil,
Tempering 180℃ Air 조건이고, Annealing 은,750~780℃ 조건입니다.

합금 공구강 SKS93 — JIS G 4404, STS93 — KS D 3753 규정이 비교 가능하고
탄소 공구강 SK3 — JIS G 4401, STC3 (STC105) — KS D 3751 과 비교됩니다.

Tool steels used in which one or more alloy elements such as silicon,
manganese, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, etc.
are added in carbon steels.
They are steels which improved on carbon tool steels in hardenability,
machinability, shock resistance, abrasion resistance, non-deformability,
heat resistance, etc., as required. They are classified into cutting tool,
impact resistance tool, cold mold tool and hot roll mold categories by usage.

탄소강에 망간, 니켈, 크롬, 몰리브덴, 텅스텐, 바나듐 등의 합금 원소를
1종 이상 첨가한 공구강으로, 탄소 공구강에 대해서 경화성, 절삭 성능
내충격성, 내마모성, 불변형성, 내열성 등을 필요에 따라 개선한 강재입니다.
