6061 T6511 재질은 열처리형 내식성 알루미늄 합금입니다.
ASTM B221 은, Bars, Rods, Wires, Profiles, and Tubes 제품 규정으로

B221 6061 T6511 은 AMS-QQ-A-200/8 규정과 대응 가능합니다.
비교적 많이, 다양하게 쓰이는 재질로, 구조용 (structural) 용도로 쓰입니다.

다양한 표면 처리가 가능하고, 비교적 강도가 높아, 최소 항복강도로만
비교하면 ASTM A36 과 비교 가능한 수준의 강도입니다.

6061 T6511 재질은 용접이 가능하고, 해수에 대한 내식성도 높고
성형성이 비교적 좋은 알루미늄 압출/인발 가능한 재료입니다.

※ Temper
The term “temper” means the division of mechanical properties
individually formed by various processing and heat treatment
conditions in the manufacturing process.

금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 성질 또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정 (예를 들면 기계적 처리 및 열처리) 후의 상태를 말합니다.

※ T6511
Solution heat treated and stress-relieved by stretching then artificially
aged with minor. Straightening after aging-equivalent to T4 condition.

용체화 처리 후 인장 가공에 의해 잔류 응력을 제거하고 다시
인공 시효 경화 처리한 것으로, 인장 가공 후 약간의 가공은 허용됩니다.

※ Artificial ageing(precipitation heat treatment) : 인공 시효 (석출 열처리)
A thermal treatment of an alloy at above room temperature to produce strengthening
by precipitation of soluble constituents from the super-saturated solid solution.

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리 하는 것을 말합니다.
