Inconel® 22,Hastelloy®C-22, N06022, Alloy 22 모두 같은 재질의
Nickel Alloy 로 Plate, Sheet, Strip 형상은 ASTM B575 N06022 과 대응됩니다.

ASTM B575 규정은 저탄소 Ni-Alloy 10 가지 재질이 있는 규정으로
일반적인 내식 환경용 (general corrosive) 으로 사용되는 니켈 합금입니다.

같은 재질이지만 제조사마다 고유 Trademark 로 생산하고 있으며
Inconel® Alloy 22 — Special Metals Corporation

Hastelloy®C-22 — Haynes International, Inc. 으로 구분됩니다.
Inconel® 22,Hastelloy®C-22 재질은 완전 오스테나이트 초합금으로

SCC (응력 부식 균열), 입계 부식, 공식에 대한 높은 내식성과 연성 (ductility)으로
화학 산업, 정유 산업, 부식성 높은 Sour gas 환경, 펄프와 제지산업 용도입니다.

Inconel® 22,Hastelloy®C-22 재료에 대한 용접봉으로는 Inconel® filler metal 622
재료가 사용되고, Alloy 625 (N06625), Alloy 25-6Mo(N08926), Alloy 825 (N08825),

C-276 (N10276) 니켈 합금용 용접 재료로 사용되기도 하고, Inconel® filler metal 622
재질은 Inconel + Incoloy, 탄소강, 저합금강 + 스텐레스 용접에도 사용됩니다.

※ 입계 부식 (Intergranular corrosion)
금속의 결정 입계 (Grain boundary) 또는 근처에서 발생하는 부식
Corrosion in or adjacent to the grain boundaries of the metal.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.
