SNCM9 — 이전 규격이고, 지금 사용하는 규격은 SNCM447 입니다.
탄소량 Nominal 0.47% 이고, Nickel, Chromium, Molybdenum 합금강재입니다.

기계구조용 탄소강 강재 S45C 의 탄소량이 nominal 0.45% 로
SNCM9/SNCM447 강재의 더 높은 탄소량이, 경화 성능 향상에 기여합니다.

합금강재이지만, 합금량이 적어, 저합금강 group 에 속하지만
Quenching and Tempering 열처리에 의해 항복강도 930 MPa minimum 입니다.

SNCM9 합금강재는 spheroidized (구상화) 처리하는, 주로 환봉재이고
Q : 820~870 ℃, T : 580~680 ℃ 입니다.

SNCM447 은, 구상화 처리하기도 하며, 구상화 처리는 강도, 경도는 조금 낮아지지만
인성을 증가 시키고, 가공 성질을 좋게 하며, 담금질에 의한 균열 방지 효과가 있어서 입니다.

Nickel 합금은 강재의 인성을 증강시켜, 상온에서 59 joule minimum 이고
Chromium, Molybdenum 원소는 경화성 향상 원소입니다.

이와 같이 강재의 성질을 개선하고, 향상 시키기 위해 합금 원소를
1종 또는 2종 이상 합금한 강재를 합금강이라고 합니다.

※ Molybdenum (Mo)
Its use as an alloying element in steel increase hardenability and
in low alloy steels reduces the risk of temper brittleness.
It is used in stainless steels as well as high speed steels.
It is increases the high-temperature tensile and creep strengths in steel.

몰리브덴은 경화능 향상 원소이고, 저합금강에서는 템퍼 취성을 감소 시키는
역할을 합니다. 몰리브덴은 고속도강부터 스텐레스까지 합금 되는 원소입니다.
몰리브덴은 강에서 고온 강도와 크리프 강도를 높여주는 역할을 합니다.

※ Nickel (Ni)
One of the most widely used alloying elements in steel.
In amounts of 0.50% to 5.00% its use in alloy steels increases
the toughness and tensile strength without detrimental effect
on the ductility. Nickel also increases the hardenability.

니켈은 강(steel)에 많이 합금 되는 원소로, 0.50~5.00% 수준의 합금으로도, 강의
연성에 해로운 영향을 주지 않고, 강도와 인성을 증가 시키고, 경화능 향상 원소입니다.
