AMS 5718 규정은 Annealed 열처리 된, 내식성 스텐강재로
11.8Cr-2.5Ni-1.8Mo-0.33V 화학 조성을 가지는 마르텐자이트계입니다.

환봉, 와이어, 단조재, 기계 구조용 튜브, 링 형상의 제품 규정입니다.
AMS 5718 강재는 560℃ 수준까지 높은 내(耐) 크리프 성질과 인성입니다.

AMS 5718 스텐은 turbine blades, discs, screws, bolts and rings 로 쓰이며
QT 열처리시에는 항복강도 900, 인장강도 1070 MPa minimum 수준의 고강도입니다.

AMS 5719 강재는 ASTM A959 UNS S64152, A565-XM-32, Jethete® M-152,
EN 1.4938, X12CrNiMoV12-3, BS S151, BS S159 재질과 대응됩니다.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness .
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도.

※ Creep resistance (내크리프성)
a property of resistance against a phenomenon in which
strain in the lapse of time under a fixed stress at a high
temperature called high temperature creep.
고온의 일정한 압력을 받는 환경에서 물질의 변형이 시간이 경과함에 따라
증가하는 현상을 고온 크립이라고 하고 이에 견디는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Martensite (마르텐자이트)
체심 정방체 (BCC) 구조를 가지는 준안정 고용체를 말합니다.
이것은 오스테나이트가 확산 기구가 아닌 방법으로 변태 되어 형성됩니다.
마르텐자이트는 담금질 강재의 구조입니다.

Metastable solid solution with a body-centred tetragonal crystal or a
body-centered cubic crystal having the same chemical composition
as that of the original austenite.
It is formed at a temperature of point Ms or lower by the transformation
of austenite without diffusional mechanism.
Martensite is sometimes produced by plastic deformation of austenite.
Martensite is the structure in quenched steel.
