EN 10025-2 규정은 열간 압연 구조용 (structural) 탄소강 강재에
대한 규정이고, 이 규정 안에 S275JO 또는 S275J0 재질이 있습니다.

S275JO 강재의 특징은 구조용 강재에서 중요한 요소로 보는
항복강도가 275 MPa minimum 이고, CVN 충격 시험 0℃ 에서

27 joule minimum, 강재 두께에 따라 차이가 있지만 용접성을 가늠할 수
있는 CEV (Carbon Equivalent Value) 0.44 maximum 이고

원소재가 killed steel 또는 semi- killed steel 로만 압연 가능한 강재입니다.
S275JO 강재는 Plate, Sheet, Coil, 형강류, 환봉, H-Beam 형상입니다.

※ CEV : 탄소당량 (Carbon Equivalent Value) : The value obtained by converting the
influential strength of elements other than carbon into carbon content.
The Carbon equivalent to tensile strength, that to the maximum hardness in weld zone, etc.
are often used.

탄소 이외의 원소의 영향력을 탄소량으로 환산한 공식임.
인장강도에 대한 탄소당량, 용접부 최고 경도에 대한 탄소당량 등이 잘 사용됩니다.
철강의 성질은 탄소량에 의해 크게 좌우되고, 특히 용접부의 기계적 성질은
탄소량에 의해 크게 좌우됩니다.

Manganese를 포함한 다른 합금 원소도 약간의 영향력을 미치므로,
이 영향력을 탄소의 영향력으로 환산한 것을 탄소당량이라고 합니다.

※ Rimmed Steel
A classification of steel by ingot casting process and steel of which
liquid steel is solidified while a specific stirring motion like as
boiling (it is called rimmed action) is being carried out by carbon
monoxide generated by reaction between oxygen and carbon
in liquid steel within a mold
Steel manufactured by addition of ferro-manganese, a small amount
of aluminum and so on as deoxdizers.
Although the surface layer is clear, there is segregation in other parts.

주형 내에서 용강 중의 산소와 탄소가 작용해, 일산화탄소를 발생하여,
용강이 특유한 교반 비등 운동 (Rimmed 운동이라고 함)을 하면서 응고된 강철로
탈산제로는 Fe-Mn (페로망간), 소량의 알루미늄을 가해서 만든 강철입니다.
표면은 청정하지만 편석이 있습니다.
