1.4028 강재는 steel name X30Cr13 으로 불리는 마르텐자이트계 스텐레스입니다.
QT 열처리로 높은 기계적 성질 (강도, 경도 등)이 가능한 재질로, 환봉재인 경우

1.4028 2D (pickled and skin passed), soft annealed 조건에서
인장강도 800 MPa max., +QT 조건에서 850~1000 MPa 강재입니다.

1.4028 스텐레스는 용접성은 좋지 않고, 일반 대기 환경에서는 내식성입니다.
약 750℃ 수준까지 내산화성이고, 대형 환봉재는 단조로 제조합니다.

1.4028 +QT800 강재인 경우 furnace components, shafts, fasteners, compressor
valves 용도이고, UNS S42000 재질과 대응되며, 13% Chromium 합금입니다.

※ 연화 (Softening, Soft annealing)
철강재의 경도를 원하는 수준까지 낮추기 위해 시행하는 열처리.
Heat treatment in which heating is carried out around temperatures of Ac1
transformation point with the object of reducing the hardness of the
ferrous product to a given level.

※ Pickled Surface (산세 다듬질 : 酸洗)
Finish which indicates the surface conditions of steel products,
with which the mill scale, rust, etc. of surface are removed by
dipping into sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid or other acid solution.

강재의 표면 상태를 나타내며, 황산, 염산, 또는 기타의 산 용액에
침지 시켜서, 표면의 스케일, 녹 등을 제거한 것.

※ Chromium (Cr : 크롬)
When used as an alloying element, chromium increases the hardenability of steel
and in association with high carbon gives resistance to wear and abrasion.
Chromium has an important effect on corrosion resistance and is present
in stainless steels in amounts of 11.5-20%.

크롬은 강에 합금 원소로 사용되며, 크롬량이 증가하면 경화성이 높아지고
고탄소강에는 내마모 성질을 부여합니다. 크롬은 스텐레스강에서 가장
중요한 원소로 11.5~20% 수준 합금 되어, 내식 성질을 부여합니다.
