ASTM B209 2124-T851 알루미늄 합금은, 항공기용 구조체로 사용되는
합금으로, Al2Cu 또는 Al2CuMg 라는 석출물에 의해, 높은 강도를 가지는

Al-Cu 합금인 2000 series 로, 높은 기계적 성질이 특징입니다.
B209 2124-T851 합금은 SAE AMS-QQ-A-250/29, AMS 4101 규정의

알루미늄 합금과 서로 대응되며, Plate 형상 Spec 입니다.
비중 2.77 g/㎤, 전기전도도 50% IACS, 열전도도 152 W/m·K 입니다.

※ Temper T851
Solution heat treated then stress relieved by stretching then artificially aged
용체화 처리 후 잔류 응력을 제거하고, 다시 인공 시효 경화 처리한 것을 말합니다.

※ Artificial ageing (precipitation heat treatment) : 인공 시효 (석출 열처리)
A thermal treatment of an alloy at above room temperature to produce strengthening
by precipitation of soluble constituents from the super-saturated solid solution

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리 하는 것을 말합니다.

※ Precipitation (석출 : 析出)
A phenomenon in which a crystal of a different phase is
separated from a solid solution and grows.

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.
