SC 480 재질은 주강품으로, 주철품 (iron casting)과 다른 steel casting 입니다.
SC 480 주강품은 인장강도 480 N/㎠ 으로, KS SM355 급의 인장강도이지만

항복강도가 245 MPa minimum 으로 KS SS275 급 보다도 낮은 수준입니다.
SC 480 주강품은 복합 형상이나 profile 형상 제품으로 생산되는 재질입니다.

KS D 4101 에는 일반 구조용 재료로 사용하는 SC480, SC450, SC410 과
일반 구조용 및 전동기 부품용으로 사용하는 SC360 을 포함해 모두 4 강종이 있습니다.

※ Steel castings (주강품 : 鑄鋼品)

강철을 주형에 주입해 소요 제품의 모양으로 만든 것으로

주요 성분이 철이고, 일반적으로 탄소량이 2% 이하입니다.

※ Steel for structure (구조용강 : 構造用鋼)
Steel products manufactured for building, bridges, ships, vehicles,
and other structure uses, which require high strength,
if required weldability as well.

건축, 교량, 선박, 차량, 기타의 구조물용으로서 강도 및 필요에 따라
용접성을 중시하여 제조 된 강재를 말합니다.
