SUS309S 재질은 내열성 오스테나이트 스텐레스입니다.
950℃ 수준에서도 반복적인 열에 대한 저항성이고

SUS304 대비, 더 높은 내산화성 강재입니다.
이는 SUS309S 재질이 SUS304 보다도 높은 크롬과 니켈 합금량에 기인합니다.

SUS309S 재질의 이와 같은 높은 내열성, 내산화성으로, 로 (爐 : furnace) 부품,
석유 정제 시설, 발전소, 열처리 시설 재료, 쓰레기 소각 장치에 사용됩니다.

※ Chromium (Cr : 크롬)
When used as an alloying element, chromium increases the hardenability of steel
and in association with high carbon gives resistance to wear and abrasion.
Chromium has an important effect on corrosion resistance and is present
in stainless steels in amounts of 11.5-20%.

크롬은 강에 합금 원소로 사용되며, 크롬량이 증가하면 경화성이 높아지고
고탄소강에는 내마모 성질을 부여합니다. 크롬은 스텐레스강에서 가장
중요한 원소로 11.5~20% 수준 합금 되어, 내식 성질을 부여합니다.

※ Heat Resistance (내열성 : 耐熱性)
Property of materials that are used at above 550℃ (for steel : wustite point)
due to their excellent resistance to the effects of hot gases and products of
combustion as well as their resistance to the influence of molten salts and
molten metals but also showing good mechanical properties during short
and long-time stressing.

내열성은 550℃ 를 넘는 연소 가스의 영향에 저항성 성질 뿐 아니라 용융염,
용융 금속에도, 짧은 시간부터 오랜 기간 응력에 대한 영향에서, 좋은 기계적
성질과 내산화 내부식 성질입니다.
대개의 금속은 540~550℃ 수준을 넘는 온도 노출되면 미세 구조의 변화로
심한 연성 저하와 충격 강도의 저하가 있습니다.
