B164 N04400 Wire 규정 재료는 주요 원소가 니켈-동합금 (Nickel Copper Alloy)으로,
냉간 가공으로만 경화 되는 고용체 (solid-solution : 固溶體) 합금입니다.

좋은 연성 (ductility : 延性)과 높은 열전도성, 산과 알카리에 대한 내식성과
해수 (seawater)에 대한 우수한 내식성과 고강도 합금 재료입니다.

B164 N04400 Wire 는,  Monel400® – registered of Special Metals Corporation,
AMS 4730, ASTM B164,BS NA 13, QQ-N-281, EN 2.4361, 2.4360 규정과 대응됩니다.

※ Solid solution (고용체 : 固溶體)
Homogeneous, solid, crystalline phase formed by two or more elements.
Note : A distinction is made between a substitutional solid solution
in which the solute atoms are substituted for those of the solvent
and an interstitial solid solution in which the solute atoms are
inserted between those of the solvent.

두 종류 이상의 원소에 의해 생성되는 균질이며 고체이고, 결정질인 상.
용질 원자가 용매 원자 자리에 치환되는 치환형 고용체와
용매 원자 사이에 침입형 고용체로 구분됩니다.

금속 재료의 강화 방법 중 하나로, 금속을 강하게 만드는 종류로는
가공 경화 ; 변형 경화 (Strain hardening)
석출 경화 ; 시효 경화 (Precipitation strengthening)
결정립 미세화 (Grain refinement),
고용 강화 (Solid-solution strengthening) 등이 있습니다.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.
