SB265 Grade 23 재질은 ASME 고순도 티타늄 합금 재질로
6% 수준의 알루미늄, 4% 수준의 바나듐을 합금하고, 6Al-4V 로

불리는 합금에, 불순물인 산소, 질소, 수소, 철 원소의 함량을
극히 낮춘 (Extra Low Interstitial Elements : ELI) 재질입니다.

SB265 Grade 23, 6Al-4V Eli 금속은 인체에 사용하는 임플란트와 외과용 재료,
높은 강도와 낮은 비중의 유리함으로 (높은 비강도) 항공기용, 해수 (海水)에 대한

내식성으로 해양 관련 설비에 사용하고, 극저온에서도 높은 기계적 성질입니다.
SB265 Gr.23 티타늄 합금은 annealed 조건에서 경도 HRC 30~34 수준입니다.

ASME SB265 규정은 순 티타늄과 티타늄 합금 규정으로 판재와 Sheet, Strip
형상의 annealed 처리된 제품에 대한 규정이고, Gr.23 은 UNS R56407 과 대응됩니다.

SB265 Grade 23 합금 비중 4.47 g/㎤, 인장강도 최소 828 MPa, 비강도 185 수준 A240-304
비중 7.9 g/㎤, 최소 인장강도 520 MPa, 비강도 66 으로, 높은 비강도를 알 수 있습니다.

※ Annealing (풀림 열처리)
Heat treatment consisting of heating and soaking at a suitable
temperature followed by cooling under conditions such that,
after return to ambient temperature, the metal will be in
a structural state closer to that of equilibrium.
Annealing is a heat treatment process to transform the steel
structure in to a more homogeneous, soft or more suitable state
Note : Since this definition is very general, it is advisable to use an
expression specifying the aim of the treatment (see bright annealing,
full annealing, soft annealing, inter-critical annealing, isothermal
annealing and subcritical annealing).

금속 재료를 적당한 온도로 가열하고, 그 온도에서 유지하는 균질화 처리를
한 뒤, 냉각함으로써 냉각 후 상온에서의 조직이 평형 상태에
가깝도록 하는 열처리를 말합니다.
이 용어는 아주 광범위하게 사용되므로 처리하는 목적을 덧붙여
사용하는 것이 바람직하다. 예를 들어 광휘 어닐링, 완전 어닐링,
연화 어닐링, 중간 어닐링, 등온 어닐링, 변태점 이하 어닐링.
