A479-316 강재는 오스테나이트계 스텐레스로 좋은 내식성과 내열성
스텐레스로, A479-304 대비, 몰리브덴 합금으로, 고온에서

더 좋은 크리프 성질과, 틈 부식 (crevice), 공식 (pitting)에 저항성 재질입니다.
대부분의 강재는 열처리에 의해 강도와 경도를 높일 수 있지만

A479-316 강재 열처리에 의해 강도를 높일 수 없고, strain-hardening 과
같은 냉간 가공으로, 강도를 높일 수 있는 가공 경화성 재질입니다.

A479-316 강재의 기계적 성질은 Level 1 – S1, Level 2 – S2 종류가 있고
A479-316 Level 2 – S2 는, 외경에 따라 3 가지이고, 각각의 강도가 다릅니다.

같은 Type 316 스텐이면서 A276-316 강재의 기계적 성질 규정과
A479-316 Level 2 – S2 재질의 기계적 성질 규정이, 각각 다름에 유의해야 합니다.

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.

※ 가공경화 (加工硬化 ; 변형 경화 ; Working hardening ; Strain hardening)
A phenomenon in which materials are hardened due to the increase of
processing strain when the processes such as cold rolling, drawing
and the like are carried out during cooling.

인발, 냉간 압연과 같은 냉간 가공에 의한 금속 구조가 변화됨으로서
강도와 경도가 증가 되는 현상을 말합니다.
일반적으로 강도와 경도가 좋아지면, 연성은 감소합니다.

※ Pitting corrosion (공식 : 孔蝕)
Localized corrosion resulting in pits, i.e
cavities extending from the surface into the metal
금속 표면으로부터 내부까지 확장된 구멍을 유발 시키는 국부 부식.
