SA36 Round Bar 는 ASME 규격의 탄소강 환봉 재질입니다.
구조용 (structural) 으로 사용되고, 용접이나 볼트로 연결해 사용합니다.

SA36 Round Bar 재질의 기계적 성질로는, 최소 항복강도 250 MPa 으로
KS S275 재질보다는 낮고, JIS SS400 보다는 높은 수준입니다.

하지만 규정된 인장강도로 비교하면, 서로 비슷한 수준의 강도입니다.
SA36 Round Bar 환봉은 Charpy V-Notch Impact Test 조건이 없어

충격에 대한 인성 보증이 없고, Killed Steel 로 제조하며 SA36 Round Bar 소구경은
거의 열처리가 없고, 대구경 단조재는 Normalizing 열처리가 있을 수 있습니다.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness.

질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도를 말합니다.
충격에 파괴됨이 없이 충격을 흡수하는 능력으로, 인성이 낮은 강재는
깨지기 쉽고, 높은 인성 재료는 보통 연성도 높습니다.

※ Charpy V-Notch Impact Test (CVN : 샤르피 충격 시험 : 衝擊試驗)
Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.

샤르피 충격 시험기를 사용하여 시험편을 40 mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또한 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험.
