24CrMo5 재질은 SEW550 – 단조재와 DIN 17240 — 볼트, 너트, 스크류
규정 합금강 강재로 크롬과 몰리브덴 합금으로 높은 경화성 재질입니다.

24CrMo5 재질은 EN 25CrMo4 재질로 규격 변경된 재료입니다.
QT 열처리시에 40~100 mm 외경 환봉재인 경우

항복강도 450 MPa minimum, 인장강도 700 ~850 수준의 고강도입니다.
24CrMo5 재질은 JIS 와 KS 합금강재 SCM 822 재료와 대응 가능합니다.

QT 열처리 뿐 아니라, 한쪽 끝 경화능 강재로 열처리 가능하고
Soft Annealed 상태에서는 HBW 212 maximum 수준 경도입니다.

※ Soft annealed (softening)
Heat treatment with the object of reducing the hardness of the
ferrous product to a given level.
철강을 규정된 경도 수준으로, 낮추기 위한 열처리를 말합니다.

※ Hardenability (경화성, 경화능 : 硬化性, 能)
The degree of easy hardening in quench hardening of steel
products, that is a performance controlling the hardened depth
and the distribution of hardness.
Hardenability is usually, compared with hardness depth.
therefore, it is convenient to use the hardenability test method
(one end hardening process)

철강을 퀜칭 경화 시켰을 경우의 경화 용이도,
즉 경화가 되는 깊이와 경도의 분포를 지배하는 성능.
경화성은, 통상 경화가 되는 깊이의 대소로 비교하는데 거기에는
경화성 시험 방법 (한쪽 끝 퀜칭 방법)을 사용 하는게 편리합니다.
