알루미늄 판재로 사용하는 A6061P-T651 재료는 항복강도는 245 MPa min 으로
탄소강 범용 구조용 강재 ASTM A36 수준이지만, 인장강도가 295 MPa min 으로

구조용 (structural) 으로 쓰기에는 조금 강도가 부족한 합금이지만
높은 내식성과 압출 성형용으로 쓰기에 좋은 합금입니다.

비중이 불과 2.70 g/㎤ 으로, 탄소강의 7.85 g/㎤ 대비 현저히 작아 비강도가
높은 재료이고, 용접 가능하므로, 강도, 내식성을 같이 고려해 사용합니다.

A6061P 재질은 KS 와 JIS 내용이 동일하며, A6061P-T651 은 6t 이상의 후판,
A6061P-T6 은, 6t 이하의 박판으로 Temper 에 따라 구분되는 합금 재질입니다.

※ Temper
The term “temper” means the division of mechanical properties
individually formed by various processing and heat treatment
conditions in the manufacturing process.

금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 성질 또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정(예를 들면 기계적 처리 및 열처리) 후의 상태를 말합니다.

※ Temper T6
Solution heat treated and artificially aged
용체화 처리 후 시효 경화한 것을 말합니다.
용체화 처리 후 적극적인 냉간 가공을 하지 않고 인공 시효 경화
처리한 것으로, 그 냉간 가공을 한 것의 효과가 작습니다.

※ T651
Solution heat treated, stretched a controlled amount(product dependent)for stress relief, and artificially aged(no further straightening after stretching)
용체화 처리 후 잔류 응력을 제거하고, 다시 인공 시효 경화 처리한 것을 말합니다.

※ 참고 : ASTM A36 항복강도 250 MPa min, 인장강도 : 400~550 MPa.
※ 비강도 (比强度 : strength-to-weight) : 인장강도를 비중으로 나눈 값.
