A2024P Symbol 재료는 항복강도 275 MPa 에 이르는 높은 강도의
열처리 알루미늄으로, 항공기용 구조체에 주로 사용됩니다.

A2024P-T4 재질과 같은 Symbol 은 KS 와 JIS 에 나타나는 기호로
A2024P 에서의 “P”는 Plate, Sheet, Strip 제품에 대한 기호이고

A2024B 로 나타나는 경우는 Bar 약자로 환봉 재료에 대한 기호로 차별 됩니다.
A2024P-T4 는 같은 두랄루민 계열의 A2017P-T4 — 최소 항복강도 240 MPa 보다

약 10% 수준 높은 강도를 가지는 재질로, A2024P 재료의 항복강도, 인장강도는
탄소강 강재 KS S275, JIS SS400, ASTM A36 이상의 기계적 성질입니다.

A2024P-T4 비중 2.77 g/㎤ 으로, 탄소강의 7.85 g/㎤ 대비 현저한 비강도이고
A2024P 재료는 강도는 높지만, 순 알루미늄 대비 내식성이 떨어지므로

내식성을 보완하려고, 높은 내식성의 알루미늄 1230 재료를 양면 Cladding 으로
덮어 씌워, 내식성을 보완한 2024 Clad Plate 가 사용되기도 합니다.

Solution Heat Treated and Naturally Aged to a Substantially Stable Condition
Applied to a products that are not cold worked after solution heat treatment,
or in which the effect of cold work in flattening or straightening may not be
recognized in applicable mechanical properties.

고용화 열처리 후 자연 시효 경화 (aged)해, 안정화 된 상태를 말합니다.
고용화 열처리 후 냉간 가공을 하지 않으며, 편평도와 직선도를 가공을 하더라도
기계적 특성에는 영향을 미치지 않는 수준으로 합니다.

※ Mechanical properties (기계적성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.
