SMA490 내후성 강재는 대기 중
부식에 견디는 강재를 말합니다.

SMA400 내후성 강재보다는 강도가 20% 이상 높은 강재로
내후성 원소인 Cu + Cr + Ni 저합금 강재면서

Mo, Nb, Ti, V 원소도 추가할 수 있습니다.
Steel Marine Atmospheric 인장강도 min 490 MPa로 SMA490 강재는

SMA490A, SMA490B, SMA490C로 나뉘는데
A, B, C는 충격 Test 강도를 나타납니다.

SMA490A : 충격 Test 없음.
SMA490B : 0℃/27 Joule 이상

SMA490C : 0℃/47 Joule 이상
여기에 또 하나의 영어 접미사가 붙는데 “W” 와 “P” 가 있습니다.

이게 붙어, SMA490AW, SAM400AP라고 길고 긴 이름이 됩니다.
SMA490AW의 “W”는 열간 압연한 상태에서 다른 처리 없이 그대로 사용,

SAM490AP의 “P”는 Painting의
약자로 도장 사용용입니다.

내후성 강재로 CORTEN 강재인 COR-TEN 0, COR-TEN 490A,
CORTEN 490B, 강재도 있지만 설계에 지정되거나,

특별히 시방서에 지정되지 않는 한,
CORTEN을 교량이나 도로용으로, 사용하지 않고

SMA400, SMA490 내후성 강재가
도로, 교량용으로 사용됩니다.

또한 Angle, Channel, H-BEAM, 교량용 T-Bar (CT 형강) 도
SMA400, SMA490 내후성 강재가 공급됩니다.

※ Atmospheric corrosion resistance (내후성 : 耐候性)
A property of low alloy steels or the like for corrosion resistance
in the atmospheric of natural environment.
Including the resistance for deterioration of resin for coated
steel plate and polyvinyl chloride-coated steel plate.
