S355J2 Flat Bar 는, 평철, 평강, Flat-Bar, 그냥 Flat 이라고도 합니다.
Plate 와는 다릅니다.

폭이 커봐야 500을 넘지 않습니다
4면이 모두 압연 된 것을 평철이라고 하고

Plate에서 절단해 (Shearing) 평철 처럼 만들면
Cut from plate 로, 평철과 구분합니다.

공급되는 재질은 SS400, ASTM A36, EN S235JR
S275JR, 조선용 NVA, Grade A, S355J2 등이 있습니다.

조선용인 경우 EN10204 Type3.1 또는
EN 10204 Type 3.2 도 공급됩니다.

※ 평철 (Flat-Bar)
장방형 (부분적으로 요철이 있는 것도 포함)의 단면에
4면이 모두 압연 된 강재
보통 폭이 두께의 2배 이상으로, 폭의 최대는 두께에
따라 다르나 500mm 정도임.

Plate type steel bars rolled in bar shape with rectangular cross-section,
rolled surface of all four surfaces of the cross-section, the thickness(t)
of generally 5mm or over and the width of not more than 500mm.
For spring steels, the opposite shorter edge of flat bars is circular
(circular arc R is about 0.5t) is called round edge of flat bars.
Hot rolled flat bar is especially called hot rolled flat bar and
cold rolled one as cold rolled flat bar.
